The BM20827 John Deere High-Performance Mulch Kit for Select 54inch Mower Decks provides all the parts you need for converting your mower so it can be used to mulch grass or leaves.
Advantages of mulching grass clippings include a beautiful-looking yard, reduced debris in unwanted areas, less fertilizer use required, and elimination of the need to dispose of lawn clippings.
This is a high-performance mulching attachment that includes a mulch plug and special mulching blades for optimum mulching performance. The mulch plug is made up of two halves. Most side-discharge and material collection jobs can be done by only removing the right half, leaving the left half in place. This kit also includes installation instructions.
Please Note: This kit does not fit older style 54" decks. If you are unsure which deck you have on your tractor, please contact you nearest RDO store with your machine's serial number to confirm if this kit is right for your mower.
