Key Features:

• Versatile Braking Options: The Pirana offers three distinct braking positions, allowing you to customize your descent based on rope type, weight, speed preference, and tree conditions.
• Easy Installation: You can install the Pirana on the rope without detaching it from your harness, making it convenient and efficient for quick transitions.
• Recommended Carabiners: Compatible with Petzl Attache and Petzl William carabiners, available in Screw Lock or Self-locking versions. While other carabiners may fit, sticking with Petzl ensures optimal performance.
• Ideal Harness Compatibility: Best used with the Petzl Sequoia Harness featuring a horizontal belay loop for a flat, secure attachment. For harnesses with vertical belay loops, use a Mallion Rapide link to prevent twisting.

Rope Recommendations:

• Suitable for ropes with diameters ranging from 9 mm to 13 mm. A 9 mm rope offers a faster descent, while a 12-13 mm rope provides more control.
